June was a busy month

June was a busy month. We barely had time to work! We've been exploring the park as much as we can.

We go on animal safari drives in the evenings most days.  If we work the late shift (12:15-8:15) we usually go for a short hike or drive in the morning.
We are trying to enjoy everything that is available to us here! We went for a morning of climbing and zip lining at Yellowstone Aerial Adventures.

We also had a great white water rafting trip on the Yellowstone River with our friends.

Mark, Anne and the guys even went for a swim in the chilly river!

We had a great hike to Trout Lake with the Ganos and had a nice lunch with them by the river.
At the end of the month, Sue and Jim Hanna came to visit. We tried to show them the highlights of the park in a day and a half. We saw mud volcanoes,
the Lower Falls at Artist Point,
Keppler Cascades,
Old Faithful and more. Of course we saw lots of animals,

and the wildflowers were still beautiful!
We had a great visit!

One of my favorite hikes has been to Lost Lake. The trail is not far from where we live and it is peaceful and quiet there. The pond lilies are blooming now.

More adventures to come in this amazing national park of ours!
